Art Deco Bedroom Suite.

Below is a 'Sneek Peek' of a 5 piece art deco bedroom suite that we have just acquired at Hungary4deco. As you will see from the photos the suite is in an unrestored, 'as found', state at the moment and needs a good clean, a few repairs and a re-polish. The Bed.
A magnificent walnut veneered art deco superking size double sleigh bed. This very solid sleigh bed dating from the 1920's, has wonderful crown cut walnut veneers to the headboard, with matching crown cut walnut veneers to the footboard. The bed will have brand new slats fitted, so all that is required is a matress, or the slats can be easily removed and a divan base inserted. The bed breaks down into six pieces, headboard x 2, footboard x 2 and two side rails. This helps for transport but more importantly means that this bed, as large as it is, can be carried up the tightest stairway and along the narrowist corridor to be simply reconstructed in any bedroom.
Overall size: 213cm Long x 206cm Wide. 120cm High (Headboard) 85cm High (Footboard).
Internal (Matress size): 195cm Long x 200cm Wide. This measurment could be adjusted during the restoration process, please contact me (David) for further details.

The Bedside Cabinets, Nightstands.

Each of these cabinets, has wonderful burl walnut veneered doors with a vanity drawer enclosed. With matching crown cut walnut veneered tops that set these cabinets apart..
Overall size of each cabinet: 69cm High x 63cm Wide x 40cm Deep.

The Dressing Table.

This lovely dressing table has wonderful crown cut, burl walnut veneers and a full length, bevel edged, original mirror suported with its original solid brass mirror screws. With three short drawers above one long drawer below.
Overall size: 180cm High x 115cm Wide x 54cm Deep.

The Wardrobe.

Triple wardrobe with two drawers. The two doors on each side enclose hanging space, both with a shelf at the top. The centre door encloses four shelves, with the two deep drawers below. The wardrobe does break down into many pieces for ease of transport.
Overall size: 198cm High x 209cm Wide x 63cm Deep.
